Were looking for a Software Engineer to join an EdTech business who offer a digital asset management platform. Their technology allows educational institutes to efficiently showcase resources & material in engaging ways, revolutionising old-school processes. The team are largely remote-first but they have an office in Marlborough; you can be full remote or hybrid focused, with a few team meetings a year for business-wide technical design & delivery sessions (plus socials!).
What skills youll need
- Full-Stack expertise; you can be front or back-end leaning.
- Skilled in C# and .Net Core.
- Confident with React, TypeScript or a similar library/language.
- Capable of building onto the cloud; ideally AWS or Azure.
- Awareness of Microservices & Micro Front-Ends.
- Knowledge of things like IaC, CI/CD, Containerisation & Automation would be useful.
- Comfortable working Agile/DevOps.
- Communicative approach; ideally youll enjoy paired/mob programming techniques.
What youll be doing
Joining a largely remote-first, multi-regional platform engineering team, youll focus on enhancing their core product; SaaS platform for digital collections. The business are very passionate about digital change and are constantly evolving their tech stack to meet future needs. Theyre solution-oriented and like to use the right tools & tech for the job. The wider team is c35 heads, there is a mixture of legacy & modern frameworks though the focus is to modernise their entire technology landscape and introduce emerging tech where possible. The role can be front or back-end focused, theyre primarily hosted on AWS (with some Azure) and are currently experimenting with things like IaC, microservice versioning and feature flagging, to name a few things.
