You will have the opportunity to work for a well known, highly successful and global eCommerce brand in their state of the art campus in Oxford.
If you are someone who is excited by translating your own ideas into code, while taking full ownership of a variety of projects for a respected platform with millions of visits per day, then this could be the position for you.
You will work on a variety of projects such as booking platforms, online checkouts and optimising speed for the consumer in an environment focused on Java, React and Microservices, while working in a team who focus on collaboration, smart thinking and using the best technology for the job.
Although you will work in a highly technical environment with Microservices and Java, you don't need to have worked with these technologies. If you're a great developer, looking for a change from your primary language, technology agnostic or you've just always been looking to move into a Java environment, we'd like to hear from you.
You're someone who can see the importance of Computer Science fundamentals in your work and approach and break down down problems methodologically within a fast paced, highly transactional environment.
You understand the importance of communication achieving the end goal. Even though you'll have independence and autonomy on your projects, the team are deeply motivated by utilising individual qualities and strengths within the team.
