In a world of technological progress, the optical industry has been relatively unchanged since glasses were first created in the late thirteenth century. Inspired by the science of sight, a group of scientists decided to shake things up and developed dynamic lenses that change focus just like the human eye. Knowing theyd just scratched the surface of possibility, they set out to explore the potential of the technology. Since then, theyve expanded into virtual reality and augmented reality markets with the goal of improving the technology so it can be used in the real world to solve modern challenges. The product has just recently been launched and they have longer-term ambitions to scale the product across the UK and then to other regions around the world.
