A senior developers mentality, able to take the lead in a complex area and deliver highly scalable, reliable software systems.
A sufficient understanding of cloud-scale video systems deployment, using a platform like AWS, Azure, GCP or a private cloud, ideally in the form of prior experience with large scale video delivery.
Low level software engineering expertise in C++, Go, Rust or a similar language.
High level software engineering in a language such as Python, for instance around tools or deployment technologies.
