Seeking a Senior Software Engineer (UI/UX) to innovate, design and develop software for embedded systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a talented team of engineers working on a diverse technology stack, ranging from low-level drivers up to Linux applications communicating with the cloud. In this position, you will be working closely with product managers, R&D, Hardware, and QA teams to deliver software solutions for the next generation of company’s flagship product in a fast-paced agile environment. A successful candidate will be able to define requirements and specifications, lead technical discussions, and mentor junior team members.
What you will do in the position:
- Developing web pages and UI/UX design Work Independently and with fellow engineers on the development of new complex software and embedded systems.
- Attends design team meetings to provide input into overall software architectures.
- Provides input into the requirements and specifications for UI/UX design.
- Helps document and review overall architecture and individual UI/UX modules and Support solving design errors and/or modifications of existing released products.
What you will need to succeed in this position:
- Proficiency with Javascript Experience developing web pages using HTML5/JavaScript/CSS.
- Experience with User Interface & GUI design.
- React.js, Node.js, Socket.io.
- Familiar with the Agile development process and a willingness to work in an Agile environment.
- Experience with version control systems (GIT, SVN, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Redux Familiar with object-oriented and structured software design methods.
- Experience with Chromium in an embedded environment
