As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be accountable for implementing software solutions as one the most senior engineers on a 4-6 person scrum team
You and your team will be part of larger Conversational AI experience initiative, primarily building reusable Conversational Skills and feedback loop driven by analytics and insights
You will interface with Managers, Lead Software Engineers, Data Scientists and your Peers to understand priorities and technical strategy
You will contribute to the product’s more complex components and focus on building quality software
Code quality will be one of your core areas of focus ensuring your team’s user stories are effectively tested, peer reviewed and well documented
You will act as an individual contributor while providing influence over your scrum team. You will influence the system and become a key part of the processes that deliver it
You will be contributing to team productivity by collaborating and coaching Software Engineers as needed
You will embrace learning modern technologies and their place within our tech stack. You will work to ensure new tech is brought forward to the team to solve problems creatively

4+ years full stack development, from deployment ops and database technologies through to front-end frameworks
3+ years of experience programming languages Python, Java/Spring framework, Node JS
3+ years of experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Docker & Kubernetes
Experience working with Agile, Scrum and modern engineering practices like maintaining single product backlog, enabling true CI/CD, collaborating to build self-sufficient teams
Knowledge of AI-driven stacks like RASA, Live Person, NLP, NLG and/or a demonstrated interest in data science, artificial intelligence
Experience building highly available applications and implementing resiliency patterns
Knowledge of Kafka, StreamSets or RabbitMQ
Knowledge of Public Cloud (Azure a bonus!)
Knowledge of Splunk, Kibana, Elastic, Logstash, Dynatrace
Knowledge of Microservices, APIs and gateways
Knowledge of Relational and NoSQL Data Stores
Knowledge of ReactJS/Angular
Knowledge of Monitoring and alerting tools like Dynatrace

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
