RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is excited to partner with an industry leading online retail and research firm located in Boston, MA that is in search of a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java (or other object-oriented programming language). In this key role, the Senior Software Engineer will join a talented engineering team to build an innovative online purchase platform used by millions of customers. Responsibilities include:
- Full stack development, with an emphasis on the backend, to build a word class online purchase platform
- Contributing to the full development lifecycle
- Implementing new full consumer-facing features
- The Senior Software Engineer will be collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fun and inclusive environment to reach firm goals
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Expertise in Java or other object-oriented programming language
- Strong backed development skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of React.js or other JavaScript framework is preferred
- Experience developing software for a high-volume, consumer-facing web application is preferred
