WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Our UK Technology team are charged with building and operating the digital platforms Dye & Durham UK provide to legal professionals and businesses across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Our Senior Software Engineers work with our Product & Commercial, Operations and back-office teams to build and operate our SaaS platforms and internal tools, and to help others to do the same. They may be deployed into one of several cross-functional product teams to build product, or into our maintenance team to provide support and maintenance activities.
You will work as part of a team to develop software using a wide ranging tech stack, with huge opportunities for learning and development within. You will maintain our systems and identify areas to increase efficiency, researching and introducing new technologies where suitable.
You will be able to have a direct impact on what we do in the future, and really make your mark with your work!
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED?
- Proven, commercial experience with Visual Studio and SQL/SSMS
- .NET Core and C# or Python
- Strong knowledge of the various public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of source code – Git or Azure DevOps
- Confidence in designing and implementing large-scale web applications, with experience across front end, backend and database tech stacks.
- A promoter of open and collaborative communication and knowledge sharing, following best practice with documentation.
- Understanding of QA engineering and DevOps processes.
- Knowledge of methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, ITSM
- Able to get to either our London, Reading or Cardiff office.
