About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
The person selected for this position will be part of the Cyber Security Innovation team within Enterprise Information Security as a user interface developer. Participates in the development and implementation of highly complex internet and intranet applications on one or more diverse platforms. Uses advanced knowledge of web technologies, including JavaScript, NodeJs, HTML/CSS, database modeling tools, and/or database interactions. Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution. Researches and tracks new web technologies, develops service applications, and analyzes business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems. Responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards. May provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Leads the development and implementation of highly complex internet and intranet applications on one or more diverse platforms.
Responsibilities Include:
‘ Secure Application Development
‘ Design, develop and maintain solutions that integrate cyber intelligence, malware forensics, and internal security logs so that advanced threats can be detected
‘ Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software
‘ Engineer Data Processing Flows, languages and standards
‘ Produce Functional System Design Documents
‘ Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
‘ Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams and code comments
‘ Debug and document existing systems through code analysis
‘ DevOps development lifecycle using Agile framework
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications, US:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
- 3+ years of Java experience
- 2+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Mongo DB or Oracle
- 1+ years Meteor and React Experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of source or version control tools experience
- 3+ years of Linux OS development experience
- Design / Development of UX/UI for analytical data and dashboard reporting
- Developing Windows Services, Web Services, Restful Services and/or WCF Services from scratch
- Hadoop Experience
- Python Experience
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud experience
- A BS/BA degree or relevant military experience in information technology
- Agile Development Experience
