This position is for a Senior Software Engineer in the Systems Architecture and Engineering organization . We are seeking an experienced software engineer for our security features validation efforts. Responsibilities include the design of test plans and validation architecture, developing an automation strategy for technologies, implementing the automation strategy by developing object oriented test content, and coordinating debug and test of automated content on physical platforms. You will be contributing towards the success of key technologies for our key customers. The ideal candidate will also work with the Security and Manageability team in the Data center Platform validation organization to enable and validate security software features for Intel's datacenter platforms
Our team is part of the CTO's office at Intel with a focus on Security and Systems architecture. As part of the Security center of excellence, we partner with Intel's business units to drive security architecture and innovation across the company. This is a great opportunity to work with other teams across Intel including hardware and software architects, silicon design and debug teams, and software/firmware organizations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering with 9+ years of experience.
- 2+ years of demonstrated coding skills in one or more languages ex. C/C++/C#/Java
- 2+ years of experience with data structures and object oriented programming
- 2+ years of experience in processor and system architecture
- 2+ years of experience technically leading engineers directly or through matrix work
- 1+ years of experience Python scripting skills
- 1+ years of experience in OS debug knowledge Windows, Linux, or Virtualization Environments such as VMware ESXi
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Work in a team environment, across Geo's, as well as balance and prioritize for you and your team
