Senior Backend Engineer / Senior Backend Developer / Senior Software Engineer wanted by a scaling Series B & SaaS business in London.
The Senior Backend Engineer / Senior Backend Developer / Senior Software Engineer will have an opportunity to join an existing team of talented engineers, working closely with Product & Engineering professionals.
This is a unique situation whereby your tech stack is not necessarily a requirement. Although my client uses Ruby on their backend techstack, they want to speak with any Backend Engineer who wants to learn Ruby.
The Senior Backend Engineer / Senior Backend Developer / Senior Software Engineer will:
- Build upon the companies existing Backend, working on a key Product for the business
- Develop, maintain, and enhance our Rails-based SaaS applications for enterprise customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and functionality
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in order to optimize application performance
- Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers
What we want to see from applicants:
- Existing Engineering experience, specifically backend
- Existing knowledge of backend technologies like; Python, Java, Node.Js, Ruby etc
- A desire and willingness to work with Ruby
- Experience in a scaling business and understanding of the challenges it possesses
- Experience not just being a "coder" – you enjoy problem solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams
