Outside IR35- SC Cleared (BPSS at a minimum) Senior Linux Engineer / Consultant
Hybrid working(2/3 days in office);Long duration(16 months);Strong rate( 400- 650).
Exciting, high level project based in new offices near Macclesfield (SK10).
We are urgently looking for a number of Senior Linux Consultants / Engineers to work on a high level, long term datacentre migration for a secure client. (Hence SC clearance / BPSS request)
Technology focussed company with a strong track record and working as part of a 40 strong contractor team.
High level role overview:
- Design and implement bespoke infrastructure platforms, including Linux, VMware, and various networking skills.
- Working with technical and non-technical staff as the key point of contact.
- Ensure SLAs are met, documentation is correct, and policies and procedures are in place.
Skills & Experience
- Must have a strong understanding of Linux and related technologies.
- Must have worked in a high level environment (hosted / regulated services etc).
- Ideally come from a data centre or managed service background, OR have experience managing multiple environments.
- Solid understanding of VMware and related network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Automation and Ansible.
Hybrid working if required but fully on-site is available too.
