Senior Java Developer – Up to 60K (DOE) – Stockton on Tees – CAN PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP
I am currently looking for a passionate Java Developer to join an evolving company located in Stockton on Tees, with flexible hybrid working! This role will be ideal for an individual who has acquired a minimum of 2-3 years experience, and who has a strong knowledge and passion for using Java. This is a great opportunity to challenge oneself and strive towards progression. Working as part of a team to develop and maintain the Java applications and APIs at the company, the right candidate will be required to problem solve, bug fix and mentor junior members of staff.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java applications and APIs.
- Triage and respond to development tickets from support desk
- Improve the user experience, reliability, and functionality of systems
- Develop permanent fixes to issues and work through product backlog
- Mentor junior members of staff
- Identify and log detailed technical incident information
- Contribute and maintain development support knowledge
Skills and experience:
- AWS
- Tomcat
- Linux
- Gradle/Maven
- NoSQL/SQL data stores
- Source code control system
