Senior Java Developer
Birmingham / Hybrid – 60,000 – 70,000
Applause IT are working closely with a major name in software consultancy recognised for their positive culture and technical achievements to recruit a Senior Java Developer. You will be responsible for working in a client-facing position in close proximity to our Lead Java Developer, working on cloud-based software solutions from concept to delivery.
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to be able to join in with technical discussions and provide insight/input into technical/design decisions. In addition, good communication skills are a must as you may be required to stand in and be the client contact on occasion that your Lead Developer isn't around.
Experience we are looking for:
- Java
- Building microservice-based software
- Test Driven Development
- CI/CD pipelines
Although it is a consultancy, we have multiple hubs throughout the UK, so it's likely that you'll only have to be on site 1 day per week and you'll never have to work outside of the West Midlands
Must be eligible for a Security Clearance
