Hyperloop Recruitment are working with an excellent client based in Liverpool who are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their growing team.
You will be direct responsibility for leading the successful delivery, support and development best practices within your Agile squad, providing both hands-on expertise and technical guidance and mentoring to the team as required.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in hands-on Java development and must have experience with Kafka or MongoDB (ideally both).
You will have strong communication skills and be confident leading team members both in-person and on a remote basis.
Key skills for the Senior Java Developer:
- Minimum 3-4 years' commercial experience using Java (Spring Boot), Java 11
- Kafka and/or MongoDB
- Automation pipelines (Jenkins)
- Microservices
- Test driven development experience
- Strong communicator and team player
- Team leadership
The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to 70,000 (DOE) + benefits. The role can be hybrid if you live a commutable distance from Liverpool, but candidates looking for fully remote working with also be considered.
