Senior Java Developer – Java, Microsercvices, Cloud, CI/CD, TDD
West Midlands based / remote – 65,000 – 75,000 + Travel expenses
Applause IT are working closely with a major name in software consultancy to recruit a Senior Java Developer with strong knowledge of Java, Microservices and Test Driven Development. We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with excellent communication skills to be able to join in with technical discussions and provide insight/input
You will be responsible for working in a client-facing position in close proximity to our Lead Java Developer, working on cloud-based software solutions from concept to delivery. You may be required to stand in and be the client contact on occasion that your Lead Developer isn't around.
Experience we are looking for:
- Java
- Building microservice-based software
- Test Driven Development
- CI/CD pipelines
Although it is a consultancy, we have multiple hubs throughout the UK, so it's likely that you'll only have to be on site (Birmingham) 1 day per month and aside from that it is a fully remote role.
