Senior Engineer, DevOps
Office location: Corby, remote working model (one day in the office per week)
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible working pattern
Salary: £70-75K per annum
Our Corby based client is a leading marketing technology business. They influence purchase decisions by connecting shoppers, brands and retailers through an intelligent promotions platform and combine their unique technology platform and unrivalled expertise so that marketers can engage shoppers and inspire them to buy their products in the store or channel of their choice.
The primary purpose of this role is to build the core European digital platform capabilities, working as part of a pan-European team. The European team covers 5 countries, and this role is part of a multi-country team that will enhance, support and build out the core features of the platform. Solutions must meet required business needs within agreed timescales.
This person needs to be able to build relationships with colleagues and work closely with them.
They will be working as part of our EU IT team, which has team members, in Germany, Italy, Spain and UK.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain a coupons platform underlying infrastructure of complex and highly scalable systems
Maintain and develop Kubernetes clusters (application & processing) installations on AWS
Implement thorough monitoring solutions for the platform
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelinesThe successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
Essential
Senior Level, min. 5 years of experience
Linux, working on command line, bash, git
Advanced AWS (VPC, EKS, Route53, CF, EC2, NLB, ..)
Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (Jenkins / Pipelines / Groovy)
Containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes)
ELK Stack / Grafana / Prometheus
Node.js, BashDesired:
