Designs database and software architecture with 12-factor application patterns using full stack software development best practices. Crafts and implements operational data stores and data lakes in multi-site High Availability (HA) environments. Enables Database and software development using SQL, Perl, Java, Python. Performs Unix and Shell scripting and coding using DevSecOps methods. Coordinates data held in relational database management systems using SQL and DB2. Protects the exchange of user identity data between Cloud applications through SCIM open standard protocols and PING Director.u00A0

Primary Responsibilities:u00A0

u00A0

  • Pulls, reads, and models company data using Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools.u00A0

  • Resolves technical roadblocks and mitigates potential risk.u00A0

  • Navigates and performs Cloud database migration.u00A0

  • Replicates existing on-premises data to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud database.u00A0u00A0

  • Performs deep data analysis on multiple database platforms.u00A0

  • Develops ELT/ETL pipelines, and performs query optimization and automation activities.u00A0

  • Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to resolve high priority customer data issues.u00A0u00A0

  • Develops clear and concise data design documents of moderately complex scope.u00A0

  • Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer software specifications on major projects and proposes modifications and improvements based on user need.u00A0u00A0

  • Develops software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.u00A0

  • Develops security solutions and software to ensure enterprise resources are protected.u00A0

Education and Experience:u00A0

Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience performing Data Analysis and Data Mapping using SQL, UNIX, and Python, and performing Data Migration (On-premises to Cloud DB) using AWS and Azure.u00A0

Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience performing Data Analysis and Data Mapping using SQL, UNIX, and Python, and performing Data Migration (On-premises to Cloud DB) using AWS and Azure.u00A0

  • Demonstrated Expertise (u201CDEu201D) creating enterprise cyber security solutions using identity and access products (Unix, SecureCRT, RapiSQL, and CyberArk); scheduling data workflows using job scheduler tool (Control-M); maintaining on-premises customer protection databases using IBM DB2; and designing multi-master highly scalable replicated directory deployments supporting Disaster Recovery (DR) Directory and DR Switching, using IBM QREP and IBM MQ.u00A0

  • DE participating in the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) — building and supporting enterprise data applications (using NIST guidelines); providing enterprise security solutions for IAM, Risk Based Framework (RBF), and critical High Availability (HA) applications, using Microservices Architecture and Database Management systems; and building custom applications using Python, Java, Spring Boot, and Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline tools.u00A0

  • DE developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Cloud solutions, using Insomnia, Postman, AWS, Lambda, EKS, Azure DB, and Azure DevOps; and creating data visualization solutions for internal and external stakeholders, using SSRS, PowerBI, Tableau, and AWS Quicksight.u00A0

  • DE architecting and developing Risk Based Framework (RBF) and critical High Availability (HA) enterprise applications, using Microservices Architecture, Restful API, API management systems, API Gateway, and Cloud infrastructure; and performing on-call (Customer Support) and collaborating with global teams (QA, Application, and DevSecOps) to resolve high priority data and assess internal and external stakeholders issues, using Splunk, ServiceNow, Postman, Talend, and SQL.u00A0
