About the Company
We are an early-stage, venture-backed startup driving innovation in the charity sector. Last summer we conducted over 50 hours of detailed interviews and workshops with charity workers. This uncovered an unexpected, ubiquitous and urgent pain point facing the sector. Since then, we conceptualised a highly valuable new solution and validated that solution with future customers. To kickstart our growth, we will utilise the strong connections that we have established in the third sector. If you care about affecting meaningful change and have the ambition and self-belief to drive growth at an early-stage startup, we want to hear from you.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is determined to make a bold difference in the world but who possesses pragmatic optimism and commercial awareness. We want someone who is comfortable taking responsibility and driving things forward. Our team aims to be customer-centric, data-driven and aligned with Lean Startup principles. You must be supportive of this approach. It is not essential that you have experience working with charities and their data, though it would be a bonus. It is essential that you have a strong, genuine commitment to making the world a better place. The ideal candidate is razor sharp, confident, energetic and good-natured. You will be excited about joining us at such an early stage and growing with the company. You will be motivated by the prospect of playing a pivotal role in the company’s success and profiting from that success.
Role
As an early member of our team, you will have the chance to define your role and grow with the company. Hiring you will be one of the most important decisions we have made so far. You will need to be comfortable with, and enjoy, the pressure and expectation that comes with this. You will be thrown in at the deep end on a diverse range of tasks and have creative licence and leadership on various projects.
This role combines the discipline of software engineering with the knowledge and experience of building data solutions in order to deliver business value. You will work within the team to design and implement integrations with multiple 3rd party platforms used by the third sector. Using your expertise with large data management you will develop cloud functions to map and cleanse data across these platforms.
