RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client in Feasterville Trevose, PA is seeking a Senior Data Engineer.
Summary:
This is a Senior Data Engineer position working as a member of a development team on the client's flagship product to create new features and improve scalability. Understanding how these different pieces of data interact is key to troubleshooting and managing the system as it grows and evolves. The Senior Data Engineer will not only manage the database technology, but also tend the data and its unique relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
Experience with stream-processing systems: kinesis, firehose, etc.
Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management
A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets
Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores
Experience in Microservices, containers, integration technologies like APIs, ESB, Kafka, MQ, ETL/ELT, Change Data Capture (CDC), B2Bi and streaming data platforms
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
