Senior Python Data Engineer Billion-Dollar Private Equity Firm
Salary: Up to 110,000 Base + 100% Bonuses
WFH Model: 3 Days in the office, 2 from home
I’m partnered with a $150bn+ private equity firm, who over recent times have acquired an incredibly impressive portfolio based on faultlessly accurate data.
Being a ‘data-rich’ organisation that they’re, they’re always on the search to find the best ‘Grade-A’ – Python-based Data Developers on the market who can tap into external businesses and clients and create a data system from an idea into inception.
You will have complete autonomy in everything you do and work on large-scale data systems end-to-end, whilst evaluating and assessing the best technologies and techniques are used for efficient data ingestion. The core technology stack is Python, SQL, CI/CD on AWS environment.
The successful candidate will be someone who is determined to explore risks and the associated benefits, ideally a go-getter, someone who isn’t afraid to bring new ideas or technologies to their client's and run with them, regardless of how it works out.

Requirements:
- Experienced: 5+ years as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in Python development and data systems architecture.
- Start-up savvy: Proven track record of thriving in dynamic, start-up-like environments.
- Technically skilled: Proficient in building ETL pipelines, integrating APIs, and managing data storage solutions.
- Problem-solver: Able to turn complex requirements into simple, elegant solutions.
- Collaborative: Adept at working closely with diverse teams to align on goals and deliver exceptional results.
- Visionary: Excited by the challenge of designing innovative systems that push the boundaries of data utilization.
