About the role:
- As a Senior C# Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, integration, testing and maintenance of various software tools and applications used on both customer-deliverable simulators & L3Harris software development rigs.
- You will be working as part of a multi-skilled team in the Software Engineering department.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Development, configuration, customisation, integration, maintenance and support of a diverse range of software tools and applications, for both internal and external use
- Support of Integration, Validation and Verification activities on simulators
- Support of Software Baseline Management activities
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- C# programming
- Ability to understand technical documentation
- An aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to use Microsoft Word & Excel
- Ability to read & write technical English
- Self-motivated and able to work with a minimal level of supervision from another engineer
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisors at all times
- Team player, open minded, proactive in moving the company forward
- Displays energy, drive, agility, and resilience in achieving work-related goals
- Flexibility in working hours as required to meet project needs
- Able to work effectively when under pressure
- A suitable degree or equivalent (with mathematics, science or engineering content) or a minimum 5 years appropriate experience in industry
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
- Web technologies including Javascript, HTML, etc
- C & C++ programming
- Windows application development using Visual Studio
- DevOps
- Atlassian toolset (Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
