Responsibilities / About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced, self-sufficient backend developer to join our team and take an active role in designing, developing and maintaining various microservices. The ideal candidate has extensive experience contributing to mission-critical services with strict requirements around security, data integrity, performance and availability. You will work closely with other backend, fronted, and mobile developers as well as data engineers to ensure our products are the best they can be.
Qualifications / Skills Required
- 7+ years of experience
- Expert level knowledge of Go. You should be comfortable designing, developing and debugging highly concurrent applications. Concepts like go-routines, channels, contexts and atomics should be second nature to you.
- Experience profiling Go programs and debugging memory leaks is a huge plus
- Knowledge of Linux basics, especially shell scripting
- Experience with distributed caching systems (Memcached, Redis etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with basic AWS services like EC2 and S3 is a plus
- Experience with AWS services like IAM, VPC, ECS and Kinesis is a plus
- Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Vertica) is a plus
- Experience with and interest in Web3 / blockchain technologies is a huge plus
- Ability to design, document, implement and test major new features from scratch
- Extensive experience with relational databases and modern SQL. MySQL expertise is a plus
