I'm currently recruiting for a Research Software Engineer for a government-funded research facility who are making advancements on urban planning and cities through the use of data analytics.
This role would be responsible for developing and maintaining platforms, applications and tools in support of research and knowledge exchange. You would work alongside a team of data and software professionals, delivering software tools and services to support the department as well as developing, maintaining and testing systems for data access, injection and integration and management etc.
Key job requirements:
- Strong coding skills
- Back-end data development skills
- Ability to configure databases
- Experience using APIs
- Skilled in Python or Java
