We are hiring for a Research Scientist, R&D Analytical. The Research Scientist, R&D Analytical will conduct research under the direction of a supervisor leading to the development of new or improved analytical methods.

Responsibilities:
- Develop robust LC, LC-MS methods for small and large molecules to support cell culture products.
- Troubleshoot performance issues using multiple analytical techniques.
- Provide analytical support to other R&D groups.
- Learn, maintain, and advance expertise in areas relevant to company’s products and strategic goals. Formulate and prepare reagents and cell culture media.
- Perform data analysis and generate summary data reports.
- Assist in experimental design.
- Assist in preparation of formal reports and presentations.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment and experimental problems.
Experience/ Education:
- PhD in analytical chemistry or equivalent
- Minimum 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to use professional concepts, company’s policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of assigned work and solve complex problems.
- Ability to demonstrate potential for technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others, and independent thought.
- Advanced knowledge of Cell Culture, Biochemistry, and Analytical Chemistry.
- Advanced knowledge of basic laboratory equipment (scales, pH meters, etc.), and analytical instruments (HPLC, MS, etc.).
- Knowledge of commonly used experimental/research concepts, practices, and procedures.
- General knowledge of computer systems and productivity software.
- General knowledge of project management.
- General knowledge of GMP and GLP procedures.
