What You Will Be Doing
As a Full stack Engineer on our Product team, you will be responsible for building user-first experiences and building backend + frontend functionality across our various applications.
Responsibilities
- Building out new and enhancing existing website & newsletter experiences
- Working with stakeholders in sprint backlog refinement
- Collaborating with Product Managers/Designers to design and implement business requirements
- Code reviews and helping to set best development practices and guidelines
What You Need for this Position
Must Have
- 3+ years of experience developing full stack web applications
- Strong Ruby on Rails experience
- React.js front-end development experience
- RESTful API development
- AWS
- Postgres
Nice To Have
- Golang (BIG bonus)
- Digital media/digital news or related industry experience
- Typescript
- Jamstack architecture
- Heroku
- GraphQL
- Redis
- Testing: Minitest or Rspec
- Kafka
