A specialist rail organisation based in Greater Manchester is currently recruiting for a Principal Embedded Software Engineer to join a rapidly expanding engineering team with ambitious growth plans in the UK and internationally.
As Principal Embedded Software Engineer youll lead the design, specification and development of complex firmware for innovative railway solutions ensuring these meet high reliability and safety standards. Youll work in many areas of the engineering lifecycle with the opportunity to demonstrate your capability in many new and exciting projects.
As an Principal Embedded Software Engineer you must have experience of the following:
You must have significant commercial experience with embedded C/C++.
You must have demonstratable experience building firmware from concept UML through to verification.
You must have experience in test driven development and test automation using scripting languages such as Python.
You must also have experience with coding standards e.g. EN50128 & MISRA-C.
