What you'll do
- As a Principal Software Engineer, you'll be working on multiple RDK video projects for Smart TV. You will develop, triage and deliver platform software including device drivers and Linux kernel.
- You will actively contribute to the evolution of RDK and next generation Smart TV platforms.
- Work closely with Squad Lead, Architects, QA, SoC vendors and Head of SW.
- Network with RDK open-source community.
- Take complete ownership of delivering critical software components.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in embedded software development for consumer electronics.
- Experience in RDK video software development.
- Knowledge of core audio and video pipeline.
- Experience in C, C++ and Python development languages
- A Problem solving mindset
- Experience and appreciation of the full SDLC process.

This location takes some beating: we're practically in Brentwood station, which has regular trains to London Liverpool Street. If you find it easier to drive, there's some onsite parking, while Chatham Way car park is a short walk away.
