FBT is seeking a highly motivated and technical hands-on Principal DevOps Engineer to join our Assurance Platform Engineering organization. You will join a team of passionate Engineers relentlessly improving the experience of agile teams as they build software of the highest quality for our customers. Each agile team and their software engineers are responsible for testing their code, and you will be critical to simplifying the process of testing through our CI/CD pipelines. You will partner with this community to remove impediments, improve the developer experience, and accelerate delivery.
You will be expected to perform multiple roles that will all rely on your ability to solve complicated problems which will include:

Partner with squads and their members to deliver testing solutions that meet the development preferences of the engineering community and the technical needs of their applications

Extend, adapt, and augment existing testing tools to simplify and accelerate engineers efforts to create, execute and report tests through the FBT/FIT standard CI/CD pipeline

Understand industry and cross enterprise efforts and the opportunities they will provide for the FBT/FIT engineering community and minimize effort required to properly integrate them

Maintain a flexible & adaptable approach to accommodate changing priorities within an agile delivery team

A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldu00A0

8+ years of experience of software engineering experience.

Strong hands-on expertise with integrating test tools into pipeline to improve velocity and accelerate delivery.

Effective communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills with which you influence decisions

Experience with Automation technologies such as Cloud Formation, Ansible, Terraform

Experience with AWS or Azure technologies such as EC2, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS)

Experience with deployments, CI/CD, Jenkins Core/Enterprise, Azure DevOps

The Assurance Platform Engineering team enables Software Engineers to build and enhance quality solutions to support our Domains, Product Areas, and Squads. The Tools and Assurance Platforms team builds and supports solutions for testing products with the highest customer quality, security, stability, and experience. We work to ensure that engineering excellence standards encompass the mission of the squads for automated testing, chaos testing, application cloud migration and management, CI / CD implementation, security testing.
