Be part of Tradewebs Platform Integration team responsible for the core services of the firm. Platform Integration will build and run the DevOps services such as logging, monitoring, CI/CD tools etc… used in all of Tradewebs business. In addition they will help drive Tradewebs release management team in automation and integration into the DevOps system, services and practices.
Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and integrate to core services for the firm, such as monitoring, logging and alerting
- Help define the CI/CD platform, building automation around our deployment and testing tooling
- Work closely with business and technology teams to analyze and resolve issues on the platform
- Automate manually intensive operations and increase efficiency
- Provide a consistently high-level of service to all customers, internal and external
Required Qualifications:
- BSc in a technical subject: e.g. CS, Math, Physics, EE or or an equivalent level of technical knowledge required.
- 2-3 years of software development experience
- Understanding of DevOps/GitOps practices and principles
- Good core programming skills in either: Python, C++, NodeJS or Java
- Experience with source control systems, GitLab, BitBucket, etc…
- Understanding with logging and monitoring platforms: Elastic, Splunk, Prometheus, etc…
- Understanding of networking and Windows server environments Linux is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, often pressurized environment
- Experience being the go-to person for platform services
- Must be willing to work some evenings or weekends for production code deployments and other needs
