Job Details
We are looking for a Software Engineer with computer vision and machine learning experience to develop the best real-time perception solutions for autonomous vehicles in the world. The algorithms will be developed on datasets from our patented wide-baseline, dual-camera system, which generates the densest, most accurate, and longest-range point clouds of any automotive perception sensor on the market today. The ideal candidate is an achiever that goes above and beyond, learns quickly, is self-motivated, and works effectively with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and test perception algorithms to power autonomous vehicle systems.
Deploy algorithms to target platforms, and optimize them to perform within platform constraints.
Create, improve and maintain datasets for algorithm development
Develop and support tools that accelerate development and deployment.
Ownership for design, development, deployment and test.
Skills And Qualifications
BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, math, physics, or related field. MS and above preferred.
Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision algorithms, including object detection and segmentation
Can read, understand, and implement published neural network architectures
Experience with creating, annotating, and updating large datasets for algorithm development
Expertise working with common autonomy sensor technologies, including camera and Lidar
Experience with OpenCV and pointcloud processing techniques
Writes clean, well-tested Python and C++ code that is efficient and correct
Experience working with production software
Communicates clearly and effectively
Strong 3D math and linear algebra skills
Familiarity with cloud development
Familiarity with optimization of neural networks for deployment
