RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Data Analyst in Reading, PA. Responsibilities:
- Payroll Data Analyst ensures timely and accurate generation/validation of post payroll reports using SAP payroll
- Partner with payroll specialist on the payroll team in processing domestic payrolls
HR Shared Services:
- Initial point of contact for local HR Partners for assistance
- Primary point of contact for employees to assist with questions including Payroll, Benefits, Processes and ETC
- Monitor HR Shared Services ticket system to ensure all inquiries are being handled appropriately and any escalated issues are being resolved in a timely manner
Data Integrity:
- Analyzing data to determine root causes and working with team on continued process improvement
- As a Payroll Data Analyst, you will perform routine audits to ensure accuracy of system
- Review/monitor inbound/outbound interfaces between 3rd Party vendors (tax, garnishments, benefits, etc.)
Integral part of acquisitions:
- Work closely with HR team on planning and integrating into EnerSys
- Involved in testing of applications
Payroll:
- Pay file loading
- Mass employee changes assist with final payroll reports, final review of Quarterly reporting
- Prepare & distribute payroll related communications
Post Payroll Reconciliation:
- Validate Payroll results against financial reports and Tax deposits
- Payroll Data Analysts work with Finance partners on General Ledger posting
- Provide Metrics based on department needs using Kronos, HR Shared Services ticketing system and SAP Payroll
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least 5 years of work-related experience
- Payroll Processing and Reconciliation experience with minimum 3 years of experience
- Solid experience with HR/Payroll/Benefit systems
- Knowledge of human resources regulations, state, and federal employment law
- Advanced critical thinking with an ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, interrelationships, and dependencies in order to craft effective solutions
- Sound knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, payroll taxes, multi-state regulatory requirements, international payroll experience a plus
- Experience working effectively with Finance/Accounting to collaborate on proper procedures, controls, data, and compliance
- Proficient with payroll software, preferably SAP Employee Central Payroll
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement skills
- Excellent numerical/computational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
