About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will be part of the Technology Resiliency & Disaster Recovery organization and a member of the Planning, Test, Design & Execution team.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in Python, T-SQL, MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS. REST API, Kubernetes.
This position will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle which includes requirements gathering, estimating, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
The candidate will play a critical role in the resiliency program suite of products within our Resiliency Solutions portfolio. The role will also engage key resiliency stakeholders involved in activities such as BCP, DR exercises/tests, and cyber resiliency.
In this role, you will:
- The role will drive the planning, design, construction, testing, and implementation of our Application Resiliency program suite of products. Develop reusable Python and Angular UI components, frameworks, and libraries on web and windows platforms.
- Support the full systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.).
- Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
- Have a solid understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery programs
Required Qualifications, US:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of technology experience.
- 3+ years with MS-SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS. REST API, Kubernetes.
- 2+ years of REST API's, Kubernetes, container technologies.
- Experience with GIT, JIRA, and Confluence
- Experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum Concepts

Job Expectations:
- Provide leadership with the software development life cycle, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support for the Resiliency Solutions portfolio
- Ansible Automation program design, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Build out the automation program in an Agile delivery methodology
- Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
- Coordination of the automation planning across multiple teams and functional areas
- Ability to capture and document complex business and functional requirements
- Build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
- Ability to analyze data, create process flows and presentations
- Proficient in Jira as well as MS Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint and in Visio
- Ability to work outside of regular business hour
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location in a Hybrid flex model
