Junior Java Developer
We are recruiting Junior Java Developers (1+ years commerical experience) for a leading large investment bank, based in London.
There are two teams within the same bank looking for bright young developers who are ambitious and seeking to grow within an experienced international team.
One role is a Core Infrastructure role working on a core real-time risk management system which processes millions of trades daily, calculating risks and real-time responses on market events. The developer will re-write components of the system to be distributed and cloud ready. The successful candidate will also build scalable data processing pipelines for computational results. The tech stack includes:
Java 8, Java 11, Spring, Ring Buffer, Kafka, GraphQL, Angular, REST API's, DB2, Hazelcast and Splunk.
A second team is within Global Transaction Reporting, providing tooling that enables the Quality Assurance Testing Strategy. The developer will work on various applications that make up the group of products supported. The work is innnovative as clients challenge to increase automation and solve complex business problems. They follow Kanban and Agile processes for continuous improvement and advancing best practices. The tech stack includes.
