As a world-renowned VR/AR brand with independent innovation and R&D capabilities, Pico has been at the forefront of the consumer electronic market. We have teams in Europe, Japan and South Korea. Now we are looking for experts in image pipeline to join us to build our AR/VR imaging team.
Responsibilities
Define and drive haptic software architecture for haptic interactions in VR/AR systems
Define and develop device plugins in game engines (Unity and UE) and cloud
Implement haptic rending algorithms in physics and non-physics simulations
Work closely with internal and external teams to develop APIs and SW suites for developers
Work with internal teams and external vendors to implement ML and Sensor fusion techniques
Develop backend tools and document end-to-end interaction flows
Define and develop processes and UIs for user testing on PCs and mobile devices
Qualifications
BS, MS, PhD in computer Science or related fields
3+ years experience in SW development
Experience with haptic device and SW technologies
Experience with programming in game and physics engines
Experience with applying ML techniques for tracking, classification and recognition
Experience with backend programming, development with peripheral devices and cloud systems
