Position: Fund Accountant, Digital Assets (Crypto)
Location: Boca Raton, Florida (Hybrid)
Business Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM ET
Qualifications and Requirements:

This position requires specific knowledge of:
– Financial markets including an intermediate understanding of digital assets
– The fund accounting lifecycle and the various operational functions required to strike a net asset value:
Portfolio Accounting:
– creation and maintenance of investment master
– capture of various crypto transactions: staking, yield farming, centralized/decentralized exchanges, wallet activity, cash, positions and P&L reconciliation
– valuation of investments
Fund/Investor Accounting:
– booking of fund operating expenses
– reconciliation of operational bank accounts
– calculation of investor-level fees including management and performance fees
– knowledge of investor performance calculations including highwater marks, hurdle rates, and crystallization of incentive fees
– preparation of financial statements and portfolio schedules
Experience Required:
– Strong communication skills and the ability to interact both internally and externally in a professional manner with clients and colleagues
– Some experience in hedge fund administration and/or public accounting (audit or tax experience in the hedge fund space) preferred but not required
– CPA, CFA or MBA preferred but not required
