Our client is an Autonomous Integrated Cloud Security provider who uses strategic machine learning to identify and stop threats that enter an organisation by email, web or cloud or from a multi-channel cyberattack. This is a 24×7 automated service which is on the cutting edge of technology.
Required Skills:
• At least 3 years commercial experience as a full stack developer
• Experience developing web applications in JavaScript with modern frameworks such as ReactJS
• Experience developing API’s ideally using NodeJS or a modern stack
• Experience with AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, API Gateways, Docker highly beneficial, or equivalent GCP/Azure
• Comfortable with both Object Oriented Programming and Event Driven Programming
• Passionate about security from code quality through to end-user features
• Desire to lead the development of new features or improve existing features, components and modules
• Able to work independently and in a small team in an agile manner
• Able to communicate effectively with nearshore team members over tools such as Slack and Teams
• Excellent communication, English speaking, time management and organisation skills
Beneficial Skills/experience:
• Experience working on SaaS applications
• Experience of code review processes, continuous integration (Gerrit, Jenkins, Gitlab)
• Experience of using Docker as part of the software development life cycle
• Experience of using AWS services such as CloudFront, S3, ECS, Lambda
• Working knowledge of Redis,Web Sockets, PostgreSQL
