About the role
We are planning to expand the customization and
reporting/analytics capabilities of our product as well as improving existing ones and are
therefore looking for a Front-End Software Engineer to join us.
The Prism product and team
The Prism product at Checkout scans all transactions in real time
and attempts to block all fraudulent ones. It is powered through customizable rules and machine
learning. Our product helps merchants achieving several things such as:
– Blocking fraudsters and protecting customers
– Protecting the merchant by shifting the liability to the
acquiring bank through a payment authentication (3DS)
– Optimizing conversion when 3DS can be avoided through a
frictionless flow
Under the hood, our product is composed of a portal which allows
merchant users to configure their risk settings, and get insights based on analytics to optimize
their risk strategy. On the backend side, a collection of high throughput micro-services evaluate
those risk settings in real time with spikes up to hundreds of payments per seconds.
The Prism team is a cross-functional tribe of 16 people with
product and delivery people, front-end, back-end, DevOps, and SDET. We value accountability,
teamwork, and kindness without ever forgetting to have some fun along the way. We put a big
emphasis on learning, mentoring and iterating and improving our product and ways of
working.
