SR2 are working with a consultancy in Bristol who work in the AR/VR and Metaverse space and require multiple embedded software engineers to join the team on a remote basis.
Due to the nature of consultancy, you will be working across a variety of current projects, as well as an upcoming project based on AR headsets. The work will will involve developing Linux drivers for NXP IMX platforms, developing Linux video applications and Linux machine-learning applications.
The role will certainly come with its challenges – being a consultancy, you will be working across diverse projects in a fast paced environment with a team of extremely talented software engineers. However, for the right person it's extremely rewarding, as the company are growing from 4 to 18 heads in the next 8 months, which brings natural growth and career progression for you.
Skills:
- Embedded Linux experience working on low-level driver development
- Experience with GPU and/or OpenCV or machine learning application development
This role is 100% remote, although the officre is based in Bristol. They can offer a salary of up to £75,000 plus bonus, 28 days holiday (+8 bank hols), 5% pension.
