Embedded Software Engineer Hertfordshire/Cambridge – 55,000 – 95,000 pa (depending on experience)
A top consultancy in the Cambridge area is looking for multiple Embedded Software Engineers to join their development team working on medical device design & diagnostics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded software designs for real time embedded mechatronic systems that meet functional & performance requirements
- Work within a multidisciplinary team of electronics hardware, software & mechanical engineers
- Develop and debug code and participate in design & code reviews
- Liaise with clients & stakeholders to take project requirements & present projects
Key Skills/Experience:
- Embedded C
- STM32 Microcontrollers
- RTOS & Bare metal programming
- Serial interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART etc.)
- Full software development life cycle experience
- Development tools (JIRA, Git etc.)
Non-Essential/Nice to have’s:
- Networking protocols (TCP/UDP etc.)
- Python
- Linux
- Medical device or regulated standards (IEC 62304, DO-1278B/C etc.)
- BSP’s for RTOS
