RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Feasterville Trevose, PA that is seeking a Director Enterprise Infrastructure/Cloud Architect. Summary: In this role, the Director Enterprise Infrastructure/Cloud Architect proactively and holistically leads and supports EA activities that guide the development, enhancement and management of Infrastructure (On-prem, Cloud) platforms and solutions. This includes cloud platforms, infrastructure, networks, cloud applications and integrations between them. Responsibilities:
- The Director Enterprise Infrastructure/Cloud Architect leads evaluation, design and analysis for the implementation of Cloud Platforms and cloud application architectures across the group based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, business requirements and enterprise standards
- Creates architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution implementation across products, services, projects and systems (including platforms, Infrastructure, applications, technologies, processes and information)
- Designs and directs the governance activities associated with ensuring cloud architecture assurance and compliance
- Defines the principles, guidelines, standards and patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision
- The Director Enterprise Infrastructure/Cloud Architect supports product managers in EOL (end of life) product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire products, services or systems (including platforms, infrastructure, applications, technologies, processes and information)
- Develops a roadmap for the evolution of the cloud platform and application portfolio from current to future state
- Monitors the current-state cloud solutions portfolio

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, System Analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
- Certification in one or more: Scrum, LeSS, Design Thinking, DevOps
- AWS/Azure solution architect certification (plus)
- TOGAF or Zachman certification (plus)
- 6-10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud technologies including AWS and Azure
- 4+ years working as a Cloud Enterprise team with migration experience to cloud platforms
- 3+ years of experience in designing, developing and delivering digital applications, out of the box and customized integration solutions
- Experience in migrating on-premise compute workloads into cloud/hybrid/SaaS platforms
- Experience in integration technologies like APIs, ESB, MQ, ETL, Stream processing, CDC, etc.
- Experience architecting and implementing high performance, cost-effective hybrid solutions in the cloud, on-premise, SaaS, etc.
- Experience with at least 2 major cloud platforms. AWS and Azure preferred
- Experience with modern infrastructure like SDWan, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Understands emerging cloud technology trends and disruptions and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models
- Knowledge in Microservices, containers, integration technologies like APIs, ESB, Kafka, MQ, ETL/ELT, Change Data Capture (CDC), B2Bi and streaming data platforms
- Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Knowledge modeling languages (such as UML and ArchiMate)
