You will be working for a Global Market leader with a Worldwide presence and a state-of-the-art Platform which is used by Millions of People worldwide serving a global gaming Engine.
The DevOps Engineer will be working in a Global Team of highly Skilled and DevOps Engineer.
An experienced, yet hands-on DevOps Engineer able to thrive in a fast-growing business where change is constant. Reporting to the DevOps Manager, you will have full ownership of delivering customer value for DevOps. As the critical interface between development and operations teams, you will be an evangelist for the DevOps culture.
You will be expected to:
- Experienced with monitoring tooling products like ELK, Prometheus, Zabbix and VictorOps/PagerDuty
- Lead solutions from the Hypervisor upwards i.e. VM, OS, application stack, and software load balancers
- Expert knowledge of CentOS and KVM
- Manage AWS/GCP cloud environment
- Expert with automation via IaC and configuration management using Terraform
- Experienced enabling CI/CD using Jenkins and one-click deployment to build/destroy environments
- Good communicator and able to interface with architecture, DBA and TechOps teams. In addition to coaching In-squad DevOps people on 'How' we do things
- Provide operational support to ensure the availability of business systems
- Comfortable managing/escalating risks and blockers
- Used to working in agile/Kanban, clearly saying 'no' when the pipeline is full
- Adhere to industry best practices on security, protecting our customer's data and business IP
- Integrate modern DevOps techniques to our legacy infrastructure platform, where financially viable

- Drive the implementation of devops tooling to enable fully automated builds, improving developer's efficiency
- Work closely with development teams to deploy applications faster and more reliably
- Use Terraform and Jenkins to enable core systems to scale 'out' with business demand
- Optimise hosting costs by 'shrinking' environment overnight
- Evangelise DevOps culture adoption with all teams you interact with
- Build systems on an 'expect failure' principle providing available/resilient systems
- Work in an agile way providing visibility to work and outcomes
