SRE – DevOps / Engineering:
Application development experience in object-oriented and functional programming languages, preferably Java / Scala / Kotlin. Experience designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. Experience and proficiency in event-based and log-based monitoring systems, deployment tools, and cloud computing. Excellent code-debugging/optimization, analytical problem solving and analytical thinking skills. Experience with container orchestration systems like Kubernetes, and Continuous Delivery platforms like Spinnaker, is a plus
SRE – Operations:
Working understanding on Scaling, Capacity Planning and Disaster Recovery. Incident, change & problem management experience. Strong background in monitoring and logging of large-scale platforms i.e. Nagios, Prometheus, Splunk, Icinga etc. Strong emphasis on SRE as an engineering function with a focus on architecture, design & automation. Familiarity with configuration and deployment management (Scripting, Visualisation, AWS, Unix, Java, Databases, Kubernetes, Docker etc).
