We’re on the look-out for AWS DevOps Engineers to join a global media and technology company offering a truly flexible approach to when and where people work and fostering a culture of inclusivity and trust.
The business delivers distinctive sports betting experiences through their own brands and via the world's biggest betting operators and media owners.
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be supporting successful development for improvements and evolution of the business’ newspaper productions, websites and digital content infrastructure, products and services by ensuring development teams are provided with support for day-to-day development tasks within the development, stage and UAT environments prior to release to production.
Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience
Location: Fully flexible – you can be fully remote from anywhere in the UK, or hybrid / fully on-site out of London, Bristol or Leeds; whatever works best for you
Working pattern: Full time

Required Skills & Experience
Experience of hands-on experience implementing DevOps practices at scale
Hands on experience working with AWS and Cloud and “everything as a service” (ECS, Fargate, RDS, CloudWatch)
Experience working in a Linux environment
Experience with Jenkins and/or other CI technology
Knowledge of state-of-the-art monitoring technology and techniques
Experience working with Restful APIs
Proven experience in Configuration Management technologies (Terraform, Ansible)
Ability to identify tasks and be able to work under your own steam.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Knowledge and experience of push messaging (WebSockets etc)
Owning project tasks, helping colleagues with their career development and coaching more junior staff members.
