This role requires individual to be able to or already hold Security Clearance. Requirements include being a British Citizen who has lived in the UK for the last 5 years continuously and must hold a British passport.
Responsibilities
Developing various infrastructure solutions on AWS as well as datacenter / private cloud to deliver high availability, rapidly developed, fully automated solutions using predominately open-source software which deliver value to the customer.
Ensuring software standards are maintained. Ensuring documentation of processes and procedures to ensure maximum re-use and maintaining standards.
Understanding security policies and implementing solutions that satisfy the security requirements.
Primary Skills
Good experience of working on Unix / Linux environments
Practical experience in Infrastructure as Code – Terraform
Practical experience with configuration management tools – Ansible (preferred)
CI / CD tooling – Jenkins
Practical experience and knowledge of AWS.
Practical experience in container technology & orchestration – Kubernetes (EKS)
Beneficial would be knowledge of Authentication and Authorization – Keycloak and OAUTH2
Working knowledge of digital delivery processes and methodologies
Ability to work with an Agile Team, being able to be self-driven and looking for continuous improvements to both the process and the systems.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Attention to detail with a pragmatic and enthusiastic attitude to work.
