Salary: $140,000 – $220,000 per year

As a DevOps Engineer, you will directly work on projects that touch every level of our technology stack. From building systems to build, test, and deploy latency sensitive trading applications, to designing and implementing critical back office data flows and applications, your work will allow us to systematically improve our software. This in turn will allow us to tighten feedback loops, and speed up application development, directly driving increased PNL at the firm. While interacting closely with our technology teams across the world, you’ll have to strike a careful balance between reliability and innovation, and given the breadth of projects you touch, no day will feel exactly the same. The ideal candidate will be self driven, and excited to learn about our trading operation from top to bottom.
Job Details
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day support of the firm’s proprietary software trading environment
- Work directly with our Traders, Trade Developers, Platform Developers, and IT Team to automate and maintain systems for deployment of trading software, configuration management, CI/CD and backtesting pipelines
- Work with end users to design monitoring and alerting systems that can be used to catch and diagnose issues in realtime to help ensure the health of our trading environment
- Utilize a range of new tools and technologies like Gitlab, Nexus, ELK stack, InfluxDB, VMWare, Docker/Kubernetes, FastAPI, etc
Requirements
- This position requires physical presence and is onsite (no remote work).
- BA/BS/MS Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related industry experience
- Passion for automation
- Adept at python, web service frameworks, linux scripting
- Experience in database design and administration is a plus.
- Interest in financial markets and trading software
- Excellent written, and verbal communication skills
- In office position
