DevOps Engineer
Fully Remote or Hybrid (London / Remote) Considered
Gerrard White is currently seeking a Devops Engineer for a global solutions provider joining a new teams developing a SaaS messaging platform.
Tech stack: Javascript, Html, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, C#, No-Sql, Serverless Event Driven architecture
Key Responsibilities
- Create, review, maintain a catalogue of patterns for Ops, Security, infrastructure
- Make sure good patterns and practices are followed by development teams
- Review and amend software architecture design to enforce security
- Enable development teams to maintain infrastructure as code
- Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Coach and train developers on DevOps practices and support them
- Troubleshooting infrastructure and networking issues
- Allow developers to innovate solutions evolving patterns and practices
- Define a process to onboard new projects and initiatives reviewing security and patterns
- Maintain Observability tooling and dashboards for production support
- Attending developer meetings
- Participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities
Suitable candidates will have:
- Experience in Cloud Native solutions and services (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience in Kubernetes and Terraform is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
