WHAT YOU'LL DO
Join our rapidly growing People Analytics team that will design and build the infrastructure needed for the team to both automate existing reporting and deploy maintainable advanced analytics solutions, including real-time analytics and machine learning. You will be a key player in the teams evolution, responsible for leading the development of data architecture needed for the team to design, build, and deploy cutting-edge analytics solutions, which will have massive impact by improving BCGers' lives, solidifying BCG as the employer of choice, and growing BCG as a business.
The Data Visualization Expert will work as an integral part of an Agile team that includes data engineers, data scientists and business analysts. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining a suite of dashboard scalable, efficient, and maintainable products that will be leveraged across North America by our business leaders and executive teams. Working as part of an Agile team, this role will interact with the business to understand use cases, create prototypes, iterate on the design, launch, and support maintenance and enhancement of digital reporting and analytic products.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- A bachelor's degree is preferred
- 5 years Tableau Development experience required (Tableau certification is preferred as either Qualified Associate or Certified Professional)
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting dashboard reporting solutions
- Experience supporting an analytics transformation including profiling legacy reporting and providing next generation solutions that simplify the end-user experience while providing greater insights
- Knowledge and understanding of designing and implementing report security solutions both within tableau server and database-level security concepts
- Experience with data preparation tools including Alteryx and Tableau Prep and basic proficiency in SQL language to access and profile data required
- Ideally, exposure to additional data visualization tools including PowerBI and Looker is preferred
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies and ceremonies
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will work on the Advanced Analytics cadre within the NAMR People Analytics Team. You and your colleagues will combine innovative skillsets in computer science, artificial intelligence, statistics, and machine learning with deep industry expertise. Along with this cadre, you will work with the Business Analytics and Enablement cadre to own the full analytics value-chain end to end: framing new business challenges, building fact-bases, designing innovative algorithms, creating scale through designing, building, and deploying of analytics solutions, and training colleagues and clients on innovative solutions.
You will also work closely with the global Data Factory team, members of the NAMR People Team, and analytics colleagues in other regions. You will have significant exposure to and help drive impact on behalf of the North America Leadership Team (NALT). Depending on your project mix at a given time, you will work closely with specific colleagues in functions, geographies, or business units to drive priorities forward.
