Job Title: DATA SCIENTIST (With GCP and AI)
Location: REMOTE (UK), London based
Department: Banking / Finance Environments
Duration: 12 MONTHS (EXTENDIBLE)
Rate: Up to 650 per day.
Job Purpose and primary objectives:
Data Scientist with Google Cloud platform services (GCP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Key Skills/Knowledge:
1)Data Scientist
2) Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Proficient in GCP Services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow , GCS Pubsub, DataProc, AppEngine, Kubernetes etc
3) Machine Learning and Data Science : Must be highly knowledgeable in Machine Learning techniques and frameworks such as Tensorflow, Scikit-learn,PyTorch,Kubeflow,miflow etc. and have experience working with various types of data sets and algorithms for predictive analysis, classification, clustering and forecasting
4)Programming Languages: Demonstrated proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Python/Java/R
5)Knowledge of Devops and CI/CD pipelines : Ability to design, automate and manage large-scale ML Model deployments on GCP by using tools such as Vertex AI,Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes
Good to have Skills (Ml Ops,Time Series Analysis,Computer Vision

Responsibilities
Develop production-ready implementations of proposed solutions across different ML and DL algorithms, including testing on live customer data to improve efficacy, and robustness
Work closely with other functional teams to integrate implemented systems into the SaaS platform
Create use cases with respect to domain for solving a business problem.
Research and test novel machine learning approaches for analyzing large-scale distributed computing applications.
Suggest innovative and creative concepts and ideas that would improve the overall platform
Strong understanding of the most recent trends around Banking industry and adoption.
