What is it?
We're sure you can tell us, with your experience so far, better than what we recruiters can tell you, but Data Engineering at Choreograph is about supporting the development and deployment of GroupM products and services across multiple cloud environments. The Data Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams of client leads, application developers, operations engineers, and architects to translate complex product requirements into technical specs and design requirements. These Data teams will optimize performance and cost efficiency of cloud-based processes across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) whilst maintaining a high degree of knowledge in cloud data architecture and ETL best practices especially across Google Cloud Platform products and services.
Overall, these roles act as a consultant and subject matter experts for internal stakeholders in GroupM Data & Analytics, GroupM Engineering and agency data science and tech leads.
What we need from you
You will have Strong expertise with Data Architecture fundamentals, database design and programming, ETL and custom query development. Experience with the following GCP Services: Cloud Storage, DataProc , Dataflow, CloudSQL , BigQuery . You will need to build data pipes landing large files into Azure/GCP/AWS for processing, developing/ cleansing data for AI/ML purposes. You will know source code management systems, data profiling tools, ETL and data management tools plus data warehousing/data modelling experience, with strong understanding of semantic and physical data models.
